What a DNC and litigator scrub actually costs.

You said on the call it runs you ten, twenty or forty cents a lead, and treated that as settled. It is not settled. At the volume you work, that line is being marked up somewhere between ten and four hundred times. Here is the real market, the arithmetic, and what we would pick.

The arithmetic on a six-round run

6,000 records.

At the rate you quoted
$600 to $2,400

Ten to forty cents a lead, your words on the call.

At published market rates
$80 to $199

A single month on an entry plan below covers the entire run, several times over, with the litigator list included.

Start here, because nothing below replaces it

The federal registry is yours, and it is an annual subscription.

Access requires your own certified account. The vendors below scrub against it on your behalf, they do not stand in for it. These are the FTC's published fees for the year beginning 1 October 2025.

First five area codesfree
Each additional area code, per year$82
Each additional area code, half year$41
All area codes nationwide, annual cap$22,626

One conflict worth knowing about, because it would have cost you money. A compliance vendor's own pricing guide still publishes the old figures, $59 per area code and $17,000 nationwide. Those are stale. The numbers above come straight from the FTC's announcement of the current-year fees. If you budget from the vendor blog you will be about a third short.

The providers

Five worth a call, in the order we would make them.

Rates below are each vendor's own published pricing where they publish one. Where a vendor quotes only on request, that is said plainly rather than filled in with a guess.

Blacklist Alliance

Best fit for this operation
Starter$80/moup to 30,000 number checks/mo
Professional$95/moup to 50,000/mo, adds bulk list processing
Advanced$140/moup to 100,000/mo
Elitecustomunlimited, real-time scrub, API and system integration
Pay as you gofrom $0.05per number check

What it covers. Litigator scrub against their own TCPA plaintiff database, federal and state DNC lookup, caller-ID reputation monitoring, and a Litigation Firewall that blocks a risky number inside the dialer before an agent ever hears it ring. Drop-in API for Twilio, Plivo, Vonage and RingCentral.

Read on it. At 6,000 records a round the Starter tier covers five times the entire run for $80 a month. The Litigation Firewall is the part that matters for a floor of 26 humans dialling by hand: it stops the number rather than reporting on it afterwards.

API Silver$299/mo300,000 scrubs, then $0.0015 each
API Gold$499/mo500,000 scrubs, then $0.0012 each
API Platinum$799/mo1,000,000 scrubs, then $0.001 each
Basic, annual$2,029/yr2,400,000 scrubs, then $0.001 each

What it covers. Scrubs against their TCPA litigator and troll lists plus the federal DNC and internal suppression lists. Every tier includes a name-recognition algorithm so a list can be scrubbed by name as well as by number. API real-time scrubbing from Silver upward.

Read on it. The lowest published per-scrub rate anywhere in this set, at a tenth of a cent. Only worth the higher monthly if volume grows well past this run, because the entry tier already includes thirty times more scrubs than six rounds consume.

DNCSolution$200 to $450/moper third-party comparison, Aug 2026

What it covers. Federal, state and internal DNC scrubbing, reassigned-number detection, litigator screening, plus ConsentVault for storing and evidencing consent records.

Read on it. The reassigned-number detection and the consent vault are the differentiators. Worth looking at only if he wants the consent evidence and the scrub from one vendor.

What it covers. Federal and state DNC scrubbing, Litigator Scrub, caller-ID monitoring. Twenty years in market and they claim 70 billion scrubs to date. Integrations with Salesforce, Five9, Genesys, ActiveProspect, VICIDial and Mitel.

Gryphon.ai

Too big for this floor
Enterprise~$25,000 to $100,000+/yrper third-party comparison, Aug 2026

What it covers. Real-time call scoring, omnichannel compliance governance, multi-state registration, monitoring at contact-centre scale.

Read on it. Built for floors placing tens of thousands of calls a day. Listed here so it can be ruled out on purpose rather than discovered halfway through a sales cycle.

If you want one answer

Blacklist Alliance, Starter or Professional.

Eighty to ninety-five dollars a month covers thirty to fifty thousand checks, which is five to eight times a full six-round run. It carries both halves of what you need, the litigator database and the DNC lookup, and the Litigation Firewall blocks a flagged number inside the dialer rather than telling you about it in a report afterwards. For a floor of humans dialling one by one, blocking beats reporting.

If volume grows past a few hundred thousand a month, move to TCPA Litigator List for the tenth-of-a-cent scrub rate. Not before, because their entry tier already includes thirty times more than this run consumes.

This is a shopping list, not advice on your compliance posture. We place no calls and we run no registry scrub. That obligation belongs to whoever dials and it cannot be transferred to a supplier, which is why every record we deliver carries its status and your team applies your own policy. What your counsel decides about any of the above is their call and we will build to it. Confirm current-year registry fees at the FTC's own registration site before you subscribe, and confirm each vendor's rate with the vendor, since published pricing changes without notice.
